St. Cecilia Parish AV upgrade begins

At the height of the Covid-19 epidemic, St. Cecilia Parish needed to upgrade their Sanctuary for better live audio and web streaming. They have been using a single, fixed camera in the center aisle.

Fundamental to any video capture, the first step is to provide good lighting for the cameras. Here is the first of the custom rigging and ETC lights being installed. There are 14 Desire D60s and 9 Selador D22s in total. Control is by wireless DMX.

After the lighting installation we will come the PTZ cameras with NDI, software video switching and streaming, all new speakers and amplification, a lot more wireless mic channels and an Extron control system to keep operation as simple as possible.
